Brief

The consumer portal is a private portal for real estate buyers and sellers. It is similar in functionality to Zillow but with many significant differences.

Challenge

Create responsive designs for web and mobile viewing. The style should follow the brand’s styleguide but still be a standalone platform.

Results

Successfully created and launched the consumer portal where real estate buyers are able to view properties and express interest/disinterest in those properties.

Wireframes

With the sitemap and provided wireframes, I was able to kickstart the project. The requirements also called for the design to be responsive (viewable on mobile devices).

A simple sitemap to organize the website’s navigation.

Styleguide

Although the consumer portal is similar in style to the rest of Raven’s offerings, it still required a standalone styleguide.

Designs

The final designs stayed true to the brand with a light interface and minimalist elements.

Responsive Designs

These compact designs allowed for the same functionality as the web version but on a smaller screen.

Prototypes & Animations

Prototypes were created to showcase the functionality of the interface to remove guess work. In addition to prototypes, animations were created to infuse life into the user experience.

Collaborate & Iterate

As the project progressed, a collaborative tool like Miro was necessary to fine-tune the designs. Some features were scrapped and other features were introduced.
